Elephant Ear Spathe

I managed to catch this flower before it started to fade. The elephant ear leaves are so big they hide the flower. Such purity.

Awesome! Never knew they bloomed. Nanny had hers for decades (San Antonio, tx) and never seen blooms. Wonder if they are related to peace lillies which have similar bloom. Have a blessed weekend!

Cool I had elephant ear plants for about years and never seen a bloom. Didn’t even know they did.
Looks like a peace lily bloom. Very nice!

Beverly, they do look like a peace lily. I think it takes several years to get blooms—these are about 6-7 years old.

Thanks for sharing the mysteries of Dale’s garden. Many of the hidden flowers are probably shy that’s why you need to play detective to find them & share with us.
Great pictures of a beautiful flower.
