June Flowers and Veggies and Dove

Written on June 4, 2012 at 2:00 AM, by Miriam Admin

Someone asked if there were any vegetables in the garden. Here are some pictures. I was also able to snap a few shots (through the bathroom window) of a Mourning Dove sitting on the nest. After some research I found out the both the male and female take turns sitting on the nest–can’t tell the difference. There are six pages of photos.

OMG those tomatoes sure make me want a BLT. ;-) Your Brigmansia and water plants also make me in a hurry for some blooms. The water plants may be a long time coming though as I still have not got my tub out. ;-(
Thanks for sharing your beauties. Sure made a bright spot in my evening.

That is a beautiful color hibiscus. I try to collect as many different colors as I can but I don’t have that one. If we lived close enough I would offer a cutting swap.

The tomatos look yummy & everything else too.
Just finishes to read “Animal, Vegetable Miracle” by Barbara kingsolver. Her garden is also to be proud of.

Love those tomatoes! Our raised veggie beds are coming to life this week. What is the little red flowery plant?(I am so uninitiated)

This season I will take extra special joy in the spiritual aspect of Dale’s wonderful garden. I just found out that I have relapsed, yet again, with non hodgkins lymphoma
