APPLE SHARING WITH THE BIRDS

We are sharing these Dorsett Apples with the birds. Each year these apples get a little sweeter. They are great in salads or just as they are. This year we protected the loquats, figs, peaches and some of the plums but the apples were last on the list. I don’t think I’ll have enough to make apple butter this year. Most of the birds are hanging around the trees teaching their growing babies how to find food. There’s a cluster of birds that hangs out under this apple tree. Please remember to use the PicLens which highlights the details of the photos.
