    Connecticut weather has been
handing us a pretty raw deal lately; storm upon storm – ice and snow. I
think a delicious glass of orange juice is just what the doc has
ordered. Maybe I should make a week of it and come out to California
    for mine : )

It does seem a bit early to me, but then I don’t live in California.

I do know that everyone I know with dogs and cats has been complaining because despite the really cold temperatures our critters are shedding like crazy! Odd…

Thanks for making me laugh. Here I am nearly 5000 miles away worrying about my seedlings, etc. If the power will stay on since the breaker has been going off to the house and Hubby says the electrician isn’t answering to schedule an appt. I feel so helpless. Then I’m flying back into Houston in the middle of a possible snow storm. Oh, how I miss home.

    Thanks

    Kathy

To all of you that have blooming plants.

    Know this.

    Today,
    I HATE YOU!

As I set inside with most of the DFW area all but shut down from ice for the 2nd day. We continue to have 20mph plus winds, random black-outs with no real chance of getting above freezing before Friday.

    OK, I don’t hate anyone,
I just go nuts being stuck indoors. I do NOT like winter & today, Spring feels seems to be years away. But this nasty weather will pass. Even in February I’ll be back outside soon & tonight’s dip into single digits will all but be a memory.

I’m way past being ready for spring to get here ASAP.

    (Grins)

The beautiful Peach bloom is very similar to the Cherry blossom. In Israel the Almond trees (Shkediot) bloom just about now. They carry a wonderful aroma.
In Japan the Cherry trees bloom Around April.
    Yes, Spring is coming….
    Love, Anuga

very pretty shape and color … i saw a cherry tree blooming about 2 weeks ago with almost the same color. Spring sprung early, even though the next couple days are going to be downwright COLD.

Could be spring in your area. :)

In ours, we are hunkered down, waiting out another snowstorm…got my cup of herbal tea in hand, and the couch turned so we can watch the snowfall through the picture windows. My Christmas cactus has just finished blooming, and the seedling trays in the basement have little basils and some mignonette just coming up.
