Another little beauty has popped up in the garden. This is called Ipheion Uniflorum and I think it is the “Froyle Mill” variety. It is dainty and the flower is the size of a nickel. It is native to South Africa. The back side of the flower is a interesting as the front. These pictures were taken with different light conditions. The true color is captured in the darker photos.
