This Oxalis is still going strong. The stripes on the petals and the yellow center are so dramatic, unfortunately I don’t know it’s name. If anyone recognizes it please let me know. It was a gift from a friend and has brought much joy to Dale’s garden.

    Beautiful, and yes, dramatic like you said! I’m so surprised to see that Oxalis
    comes in different colors (I think of yellow when I think Oxalis!).

    when i lived in the south (most of my life), these would bloom in the yard like weeds. i always cut the grass around the sunny “shamrocks” as we called them. they come in such beautiful colors AND make pretty good indoor plants too! thanks for sharing these little gems!

    Dea, Thanks for identifying it. It certainly is Oxalis Obtusa—I’m not sure if it is Sunglow or Sunshine–so difficult to tell.
