My plant is blooming too (indoors), but the flowers are a deep red color. Really beautiful.

Beautiful color, Miriam! The Christmas cactus is hard to find here. All we
get are the Thanksgiving cactus.

Now, that’s exciting to see a Christmas Cactus outside! Here, they are only houseplants.

Mine have just begun to bloom, though indoors. We still have about 4 inches of snow on the ground, and a rather dispiriting foggy drizzle today.
An e-mailed “garden calendar notification” informs me that today would be “ideal” to plant garlic in my zone. It was a much-needed chuckle, so I called my sis to tell her, and found out HER Christmas cactus is also blooming!(We bought them on the same day two years ago, from two different shops, and without knowing the other was doing so — what a nice coincidence!)

Thats a lovely variety, I’ve only the deep fuchsia colored form…which also is still throwing out flowers a month later…..I should think you’d have a flurry of Hummingbirds about it…

Yofi = beautiful x 10.
Blooms of Cacti plants are especially beautiful. We see them when we go on hikes. The colors are bright & very attractive.
