THE ORIOLE AND THE FIGS

This Oriole has been teasing me for days. He and his woman have been eating the figs. They peck open my protective plastic fig contraptions and munch away. I set up a bird bath water fountain right next to the fig tree thinking it would satisfy their thirst and they would ignore the figs. Not happening. You would think they would at least let me get a good picture of them in exchange for the figs. Unfortunately they flit about and I’ve only been able to catch glimpses of them with the camera. I’ve seen doves, verdin, bewich wrens and lots of starlings while waiting for the money shot of the Oriole. Please remember to use the PicLens which highlights the details of the photos.
