The Zamia Furfuracea / Cardboard Palm is doing great. It was a slow starter but now it is really putting out the leaves. The texture feels like—-cardboard!! I clipped a few leaves and have them in a vase on the counter. They’ve maintained their color for almost two weeks and going strong. Please remember to use the PicLens which highlights the details of the photos.

Well, it may feel like cardboard, but it looks wonderfully lush, like it would make a great houseplant because the leaves are round edged, instead of spiky.
