Ruella In The Grass

3

One of the flowers in Dale’s Garden is Ruella. It’s a common flower also known as Mexican Petunia. Some people consider it a weed and a nuisance but I love it. The color is glorious and never fails to lift my spirits. Hummingbirds are attracted to it all day long. The flower lasts for a day but there are always plenty of new blooms to go around. I found this one flower that had blown off its stem and was resting in the grass.
