For Dale

It’s been 12 years since Dale passed. She has been sending beautiful garden gifts every day. Here are some stunning blooms. Canna and Coral bean are brilliant red. Fairy lilies are golden yellow tinged with maroon. The water lilies are so happy in the new pond. Lastly the vegetable garden is showing off with melons, zucchini, peas, tomatoes, corn, beets, carrots, winter and summer squash and more. The beans have red/orange flowers and are called Lady Di. There are over 40 pictures in the post. Wish you could taste the fresh produce.

Miriam, your photos are so beautiful….your gardens truly a labor or love. You are so gifted in the design and flowers in the memorial garden…I truly hope it provides great peace and comfort to you.

  2. Truly. You are wonderfully adept at getting it all to synergistically thrive in the arid Arizona desert, just “as if you were still in lush California.” And, the produce enclosure is phenomenal. Dale certainly anoints you with many of nature’s blessings which, you in turn, bless us with in your memorial of her. Thank you.

As always, your pictures and garden are absolutely beautiful. Bless your heart and thank you so very much for sharing.. I’m sure Dale has a big smile on her face.

  5. Hi Miriam: Your garden is beautiful. What abundance!! Can’t believe the growth and change since you gave us the tour in February. The water lilies are amazingly colorful. I don’t know how you keep it all growing. Full time jobs for both of you for sure!!!

  6. I had never heard of a javelina. They are sort of cute but I definitely wouldn’t want them near my garden. So I can see why you have such a wonderful garden enclosure. Your vegetables are doing very well and I enjoyed seeing how well they’re growing. The water lilies are lovely. Thanks for the photos.

  7. Beautiful, Miriam – I’m sure Dale is helping you tend your garden with – it’s such a sweet tribute to her. I see you have your veggies enclosed – are there animals around that will eat them?
